Some of my earliest and fondest memories are of me growing up with a disposable camera in hand. Even as a young girl, I understood how a single photograph could speak a thousand words. Each cherished image becomes imprinted on our hearts and can be preserved as a tangible memory — a piece of our history passed from one generation to the next. That love for memories led me to become a collector of photographs, spanning decades, and resulting in thousands of printed images that have become my most valuable and meaningful possessions.
Ironically, photography was not on my bingo card. I attended university to double major in Forensics and Psychology, a path that led me to a forensic photography course where I learned the technical art of the craft. I published two research projects and even had an image from one submitted to an international forensic photography competition. Though it didn’t place, that image made the cover of the journal where my work was published.
After graduating, I moved to Ottawa to pursue a Master of Legal Studies degree in 2014. Life then magically brought my husband and me together just a few weeks later. We married in the spring of 2021, in an intimate ceremony that reignited my passion for photography.
As a nostalgic mother, I understand how precious each moment is, each milestone turning into a memory in the blink of an eye. I also understand how busy motherhood can be and how valuable your time is. That’s why I’ve created a portrait experience designed for busy moms like you and me.
This is my why.
My mission is to take care of every detail from planning, hair & make-up, to wardrobe & ensuring your memories live on in your home. Leaving you to tend to what matters most — your family while becoming a collector of photographs that tell your motherhood love story through beautiful artwork.
